Braden Leary
APR 9 Licensed Legal Intern
Braden started at North City Law’s Anacortes location in May 2025, formally, as a legal intern and, informally, as Alexis’ “work son.” Initially brought on as a personality hire, Braden has since exceeded even Paul’s greatest expectations with his slightly-above-average competence and relentless drive!
Braden graduated with a B.A. in political science from Western Washington University — but, by graduation, Braden had abandoned all faith in the political system and chose to study law, as a more practical way to use his writing and advocacy skills at the community level.
Before and while attending law school at the University of New Hampshire, Braden has worked in law firms across four states, gaining experience in intellectual property, landlord-tenant law, and personal injury. Now at NCL as an APR 9 Licensed Legal Intern, Braden is thrilled to expand his knowledge to the realms of estate planning, real estate law, civil litigation, and more!
Outside of work, Braden spends his free time cooking and baking, listening to Taylor Swift (and gossiping about her love life), playing Wizard101, and narrating the daily activities of his three cats with his partner and greatest supporter, Andrew (the handsomest and smartest scientist in the world).
